Andy sent in: How do I get rid of incorrect email addresses that automatically show up when I address a mail message?
Most email programs have a default option that automatically adds new recipients to your contacts list. This is extremely helpful as its saves significant time by not having to manually enter addresses to your contacts.
But, if you accidentally type an address incorrectly, the misspelling gets saved as a contact. Once the wrong address is saved, it pops up as an option when addressing a new message. This is frustrating.
To clear out bad addresses in Gmail or Yahoo mail, go to your Contacts. You will have to search for the bad address and manually delete it.
